The Lakes Story

Lakes Espresso is owned by Felix and Mia, partners in life and business with over 20 years of combined experience in hospitality and business. Their journey through cafés, kitchens, leadership, and community-building has shaped who they are — and ultimately, what Lakes Espresso has become.

With a deep love for people and a passion for delivering real, honest hospitality, Felix and Mia have built a café that reflects their values: hard work, integrity, consistency, and heart. Their experience shows in every detail — from the menu to the atmosphere to the team they’ve carefully grown.

Our Family

While Lakes Espresso is powered by Felix and Mia, it thrives because of the incredible people beside them.

Sammii, our manager, is the backbone of the café — dedicated, loyal, and an absolute force. Balancing full-time work and law studies, she’s a true example of resilience and commitment. Her leadership and heart shape the experience our guests feel every day.

Hailee brings warmth, positivity, and genuine friendliness to every shift. She’s consistent, reliable, and represents everything Lakes Espresso stands for.

We’re a small team — but we’re a family. And that family feel is what our guests experience each time they walk in.

Our Location & Community

Lakes Espresso is proudly located within the Kanwal Medical Complex, directly across from Wyong Public Hospital.
We are incredibly grateful for the daily support of medical staff, nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, patients, carers, and visitors who have become a huge part of our community.

Serving this community — often during emotional, stressful, or busy moments — is a privilege we never take for granted.

The Lakes Way

The Lakes Way is the standard that guides us — the culture behind everything we do.

It means:

Serving coffee with care, consistency, and pride

Offering fresh, honest food made daily

Delivering service with warmth and respect

Showing up every day with authenticity

And treating every guest like they matter — because they do

It’s hospitality done right.
